Project partners:
ZeLIG was established 20 years ago in close relationship with the audiovisual industry reacting to the strong need of editors and cameraman in South Tyrol. ZeLIG has evolved as one of the major Europe-wide documentary training institutions. It has maintained a strong relationship with the audiovisual industry by developing and offering trainings in different areas such as project development – pitching sessions – New Media, with partners of the audiovisual industry all over Europe.
The Thomson Foundation,
which provides media training in dozens of countries every year, will leverage its large alumni base in India and elsewhere, as also its wide network of industry contacts across the world. This industry-wide network ranges from international/ intergovernmental bodies to industry associations and networks, and a huge number of broadcasting organisations, including Doordarshan, NDTV, INX and several others in India. It has long-standing partnerships with many industry players and stakeholders and will leverage them.
Formedia is: a) presently implementing the ‘Tell It Better’ project funded by the VIKES Media Foundation of Finland, which is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finland. B) A partner of the ZeLig School of Documentary, Television and New Media, Bolzano, Italy. c) Co-producing the ‘Changing India’ series of documentaries under the STEPS India project for SBS - Australia, TV2 – Denmark, BBC - UK, YLE - Finland.
